O Naadaan Parindey! Ghar Aaja!! "Kyun Desh-Videsh Phire Maara, Kyun Haal-Vihaal Thaka Haara, Kyun Desh-Videsh Phire Maara, Tu Raat-Biraat Ka Banjara" It was 10 pm and I was in my car, going back home from work. I have been out of my hometown for about 10 years now. I stop at a red light and the song above starts at radio. "O Nadaan Parindey Ghar Aaja, Ghar Aaja, Ghar Aaja, Ghar Aaja Aa..." I haven't talked to my parents for 2 days now and suddenly, I just want to talk to them. "Sau Dand Badan Pe Phaile Hain, Har Karam Ke Kapde Maile Hain" I have heard this song before but the lyrics have never hit me like that. I travel back to the times when life was simpler. My most precious possessions were my mom, my dad and my sister. Now, I have to take a vacation just to meet them. And all that for what? Some more bundles of currency. Is that it?
